We’ve got a trio of Halloween themed episodes for you, the first coming out tomorrow – Horror Stories, tales of those times when gaming goes awry and falls apart hilariously (sometimes only in hindsight…) Guest Darrell Hardy (shame he has to spell his name wrong) joins Ross and myself as we relive those moments that fill us with dread at sticking around for another roll.
On October 24, Brian Patterson from the D20 Monkey webcomic will join us to discuss bringing horror to our games intentionally. We’ll discuss the genre as seen through the lens of gaming and what we can do to bring it to our tables. You’ll be prepared to bring a special theme to your weekly game.
On All Hallows Eve itself, guest Ari Marmell will talk about his days working for White Wolf and celebrating all those games that put a shiver in our spines – World of Darkness, Call of Cthulhu, Ravenloft, Arkham Horror, Last Night on Earth, Zombies!!!, Accursed, and others. A love letter to fighting against and playing as the things that go bump in the night.
