Nice show, excellent addition to the other podcasts!
Thank you. We’re still working on the format and will be tweaking it in the upcoming weeks.
First – great show guys. I’m a backer of the 7th Sea 2 ed. Kickstarter, and this RPG had a real cult following in Europe. I personally know at least 30 people who also bucked the project (and hundreds who claimed it on Facebook), some of them paying for the top tear backer goals. I would love to see a list of buckers by nationality or at least USA v. rest of the world because this was perhaps what made it so big. The Kickstarter drew all those very passionate fans from around the globe, not just the USA as most of the rpg kickstarters do. Maybe I’ll ask Mr. Wick at the convention in Poland he’s attending in early April (http://pyrkon.com/2016/guests/).
Second, the CD Project Red and R. Tasolrian Games (Mr. Pondsmith) venture will bring you The Witcher Tabletop RPG first – the mechanic will be somewhat based on the modified CP2020 RPG, although Mr. Pondsmith is also working on the CP2077 tabletop RPG (https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2015/08/01/the-witcher-tabletop-rpg/).
I love the idea of your show, and since “there is no hate on the Gamers Tavern podcast” perhaps this show is the place to put some of it? (Your comments on the movies 🙂
May all your ventures be critical successes! (please excuse my bad English).
Mr. Wick said to this past Saturday that this time it was 60/40 (USA/rest of the world) and most backers were from the USA. It makes me happy that so many people want a new version of this game about swashbuckling heroes 🙂 Keep up the good work!
