Episode 29: Character Types We Love to Hate, or The Deathknight’s Sword Fell Into My Pocket 2

Say any of these races, classes, clans, builds, backgrounds, or archetypes online and you will be deluged with hate. Why is it everyone thinks bards suck, or Kender are too annoying to let live? And is it possible to redeem these characters?

That’s well said. I love trying to make these kinds of concepts and characters work. If handled with care and forethought, any of these can work and work well in a game. Much like there are no stupid questions, there’s no such thing as a ‘bad’ idea just a poorly executed one.
